Darth Vader metal screen

I was hoping someone could tell me where to get the metal screen that the metal keys sit on inside Vader's helmet. I've noticed a passable alternative is fine speaker screen with round holes, but the actual shape of the punctures are different, reminds me of mini Chevrolat symbol! Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Are you just talking about the metal grill? Its more diamond shape. Best place to find them is in your automotive store. Look for a Fram square shaped air filter. I found an image online for this. It's close to what I bought. Just use some wire cutters to cut our your triangle shapes and pitch the left over air filter.

Here's a tip: cut the triangles for inside the helmet larger than you think you need. You'll need that extra bit to tape or glue the grill to your helmet. You can always trim down but you can't add to it if you cut it too short.

If you're talking about the mesh behind the grill I just used a little window screen found in the hardware store. Its light weight and allows for better air flow. If you're worried about people seeing you through it then put some light weight dark foam behind it.
