For the first time, I can wear it with all the pieces attached

But there is still a lot of work to do!!!
My helmet is 1.05 and by the photo, you can tell that is way too big :lolIs there any chance of getting the V2 Helmet done in the 1.01 - 1.04 scales? I pepped the 1.0 tester and it fits, but I think too snugly. I kind of have a big head. When I looked at the overall width of the 1.05 scale, it said it was 198mm wide. I can't do a point-to-point measurement in the viewer, so I can't tell for sure, but I think it might be too big. I'll try to pep out the 1.02 or 1.03 to split the difference, but if you can post the PDOs before I do all the printing and pepping, that would kick mucho ass.

Awesome! I know it's a huge motivator to have wearable pieces!

you need to remember too ask for the paper type as well (A4, letter and so on) also, if it's for a cardstok build or foam templates
Thanks! It would be for letter sized paper, for a card stock pep build.
don't tell me, tell darkside :lol lol
can't wait to see how it turns out... happy peping :lol
This is coming along nicely! Which neck file are you using?

Hello, I'm using this one: http://www.therpf.com/f24/cleaner-greener-ironman-files-foam-160488/
I think is some variation of robo3687's neck
To get the scale I had to take my measures and modify the neck scale until its measures matched with mines.

Gotcha, thanks. Wasn't sure if posting in the thread was enough or if I needed to PM.
Newb question time - I see lots of posts referring to pep scales in the 22-25 range. All I know how to scale is by using a scale factor based on 1.00 (as in 1.0 = 100%, so .95 = 95%).
Where are the scales of "23.5" (for example) coming from? Is it an older version of pepakura designer or something? I've looked through the forums so please go easy on me
Second newb question - if the V2 files are only going to be released in Pepakura Viewer, how can I do point-to-point measurements to ensure the scale of that piece will work for me? Not being able to do that could result in a ton of printing, cutting, then oops...need 1% bigger/smaller.... reprint, recut, etc.
Thanks!
Ok put up a 1.03 scale for you.
I also want to thank FerrousBueller for being a big supporter of my work and for your contributions to this project. Your name has been added to the VIP list and you will get the 2 months early access to the V2 files when they are done.
hey man, sorry for the mix up... you don't have to PM darkside if you need a different scale than what's uploaded you can ask him in the thread as well as in a PM if you so choose
to answer your first newb question as best I can... the scale factor 1.0 is for things like the helmet and (hand's I think) and the scale factor in the 22-25 range is for the (bigger) pieces, chest, arms, back, legs etc.
second newb question... the V2 files will be released in pep Viewer but as I recall, darkside said a little while back that he will make test fit pieces of all the armor parts for pep Designer just like the test fit helmet
hope that helps.
