another updates, finished the tight armor and the helmet is sharkheads, love it
tips on doing the helmet...... not to rush, do slow... if it does not come out rite, do it again, thats how i learn from it..fyi, im using the softer type foam... like yoga mat... cheers

Talking about using CA glue on a foam build, I used some today on my first attempt and it works good. Did a little hot glue a little Cyano glue. Just an FYI, they make something called accelerator or Insta-set or half a dozen other names. It basically sets the CA glue almost instantly and hardens it to fiberglass consistancy... Here a picture

Makes CA even faster. Just watch your fingers as it will set them up quick and hard, very difficult to debond. It makes fumes too, so use in open area or well vented..
I love this stuff. used if for RC planes all the time. It is well worth a couple extra bucks!

@Bigturc - Ok, I guess I'll get the license then. Oh and case you're wondering why 38$ is a huge deal for me, its because I'm a poor college student ) 38$ translated to pesos (my home currency) is pretty heavy. But upon thinking about it...I think it will be worth it. Thanks for explaining the licensing deal by the way.

@Ironmaiden- where do you get your materials?

@Syrus54- I'm in the exact same dilemma bro. I really wanna do the cardstock build but it looks really tough.

Almost done with the suit. just need

chest
back
left shin
both thighs
abs
helmet
and neck but I cant find a neck file that is not from 4shared(wasted all the GB and messed up my computer.

I'll post a picture of updates and the final suit

now I need to make a thread for this:facepalm

i'm just upgrading my first mark 7 build. . .

by the way all of my materials are cheap. . .
the rubber foam just cost me $7 (converted to peso ofcourse) and it's about 8ft long and 6mm thick
