Question for the mark vii. Is their a brace for the suit or can I use the mark iv brace as a sub?

Would someone mind helping me with something? I have no clue how to scale thing in Pepakura, would someone mind explaining how it works, or just send me an already scaled model? Thanks

That defeats the entire purpose of "scaling."

Scaling is designed to fit the costume to yourself, so a pre-scaled suit would fit whoever it was scaled to.

Just measure yourself in various ways, then adjust the pep scale, and measure distances in the program until your measurements and the pieces' measurements match up. Do that for EVERY piece. The only time you are definitely going to reuse a scale factor is for the chest and back pieces so they match exactly.

Everything else should be scaled to the body part it's designed to fit.

In Pepakura designer under "2D Pattern" menu at the top you have an option to Change the Scale. Just select the option that DOESN'T have you scaling it by 10% larger or smaller so you can input your own values.

Also, the search function would serve you well here. This has been covered dozens of times.

Can you post a pic of it?

Anyway, I was half way through making my back, and dont you just love how, when you test fit it, you find out it's WAY TOO SMALL... ugh...

So, I stretched the model a bit, and in doing so, I found a way to add texture to it. So, it's not a total loss...

Comparison:

Just a Minor Stretch to fit me.

Now I just gotta UNFOLD it, reprint, etc...

I myself am curious about this Iron Patriot thing, since Eric Savin was not supposed to be wearing the Iron Patriot suit at all, and instead be Norman Osborn. That being said, will they have someone play Norman Osborn in this, or is it just a cameo for the suit and no character backstory whatsoever?

On a related note, I've started a Mark VII build using Darkside's pep files, and unless he waits until this fall to release an updated helmet, I will agree with his first post that Sharkmark's helmet is the best way to go.

Don Cheadle wearing Iron Patriot.. That doesnt sound right. He already has a suit anyway....

I honestly think it's the Iron Patriot but the suit is just for show, like for appearances. There isn't really a backstory at all for the IP in any of the 3 movies before this one.

i would bet money its not war machine

the helmet looks wildly different, the chest is just vaguely close, and the arms are totally different

its not tony stark building this suit
the us forces cant just build a new war machine.
also, it has nothing to do with the marvel universe, to paint war machine. and they usually at least keep to the facts of the universe.
so, i will bet anyone, who says different

also, saying "CONFIRMED" is just meh, nothing has been confirmed.

Well that's what gets me - why would you redesign War Machine to be exactly like Iron Patriot, with a few minor changes here and there in color? That doesn't make any sense. Even if that one guy was just a stunt double for Cheadle, the suit is what stands out. So yeah, the production photo shows an Iron Patriot suit with a War Machine gun perched on the shoulder.

I guess they were right, it's just too early to tell.

i dont see where you see a war machine gun on his shoulder

its just a gun, it doesnt even look remotely close to war machines gun in iron man 2, and only certain parts on the armor resemble war machine pieces, most vaguely.
