Darkside501st's Iron Man Mk VII pepakura files - Password in First Post

Hey guys, i have a question for all the pep junkies out there! =) i have been going pretty steady on my markvii cardboard build and have most of the pieces completed. i have been having trouble with the biceps though. i tried using the same scale as i have been using the entire project-- 24.00 to 24.75. When i first built the bicep in that scale it was way too long ( the front bicep plate is so long that it falls on my forearm. I rescaled it to fit the right length from the back of my shoulder to the elbow (pivot point), but now the piece is way to small to fit my bicep in... has anyone else came across this issue? do i need to custom fit it somehow? Thanks for any input!

You need to cut out a notch on the inside edge of the biceps, where your underarm goes, so that it fits higher on your arm.

Hi all,
Thanks for you previous advice Mike. Starting to get it closer.

I've got an issue now with the jaw hinge. Its connected to the faceplate hinge (went with a simple system and magnets - faceplate is way to heavy for a servo), and when its closed and the jaw presses against main helmet, it puts tension on the faceplate hinge. This in turns pulls up the faceplate so there is a gap. If I release the jaw connectors, the faceplate site back down nicely.

Has anyone else had something like this happen? How did you sort it out?
I've tried playing around with the pivot points, tension, length of arms, etc,

It doesn't help that here in Malaysia (tropics) bondo turns solid in less than 2 minutes!
Any ideas?

thanks again everyone.

Hey darkside501st, I've downloaded the following foam pep file for A4, "885 Foam Iron Man MkVII Helmet by Darkside501st.pdo" and tried opening it in Pepakura designer in order to scale it up slightly to craft one for my 6yr old son, but it instead force opens in Pepakura viewer and there's nowhere I can find to enter in the password from the first post or prevent it being opened in Pepakura viewer. I just want to scale the foam pep to .90 or even .91 for an A4 printer. Any help would be muchly appreciated.

I just posted my 2nd gen Arc Reactors in the Junkyard. I now have a Li-ion battery that lasts 10 hours at nearly full brightness! Check out my profile for a list of threads I have started.

Using these files I made my own suit. Here are some photos of how salt lake city comic con went
