I think that mainly had to do with the new director. I think if Favreau would've stayed the director, IM3 would've been SO AWESOME... but personally, I was disappointed.
I would rank the Best: IM2.
2nd best: IM1
and 3rd: IM3.... DISTANT 3rd, that is.
And it PAINS me to have to say that, but it's an honest opinion.
So, this is how I have my helmet right now, I know it's not much, but I would like to know if you guys think I need to fill those gaps you see in a few places before resining the helmet, or the resin will take care of it?
I plan to do the jaw and faceplate this weekend but I will have to wait until the next weekend to do the resin and fiberglass as I don't have a proper place to do this in my flat.
Thanks!
I think it would be best if you ease a little bit on the cutting. You don't have to fully cut on all the lines, just score it enough to fold it into shape. You remedied it correctly by using bits of cardstock to stick the pieces together, but for future reference just be careful how you cut.
I only cut the continuous lines (even if they are in the middle of the piece), not the dashed ones, but I still get some gaps... are you saying I shouldn't cut all the continuous lines??
my thought is im 1 , avengers ,im 3 and then im 2 other then that , darkside ive finished peping your suit but not the abs and still working on the boots as im trying to figure out how to make them sturdy enough to hold all mine and the suits wieght

Practise, and lots of it!

Indeed. If the flap is not big enough, don't bother to cut the continuous lines and treat them as fold lines.
Thanks! I thought these cuts were needed even in those cases to get the actual shape from the 3d model and a fold wasn't enough. I will fix those places and leave them uncut in the next pieces![]()
@ chazodude:
Hey, that was a pretty cool trailer.... from a COMEDIC stand point.
But yeah, definately dont want to watch that Before seeing the movie.
Yes, you don't need to cut all the lines... there is a sensitivity setting that you can adjust so that those lines wont show up too. Anyways... if both sides of the cut line are touching or even a hair or two apart then I don't cut them. In order to fix what you did you need to use the tabless pep method to glue those sides together and close the holes.
