Hey darkside i loved your gloves pictures. Is it possible if you can add some more detailed pics of the gloves on your hand ? I was wondering how you filled the gaps between the finger joints. And the use of thin glove you mentioned before.

Right now I don't have anything but the underglove covering the joints on the glove. I have plans for it but I haven't made anything yet.

If i were to set everything to a scale of 25 would it roughly fit? i.e fore arms, shins, etc?. or does every individual piece need to be scaled specifically. I can just plug in 25 and then go cut the templates out of foam can i?

The parts will fit together if they are the same scale... the problem is will they fit you. Everybody is different, longer arms, shorter legs, long midsection, bigger rear, etc... so some parts may need to be scaled differently so they look right on you.

Darkside, out of curiosity, have you actually completed a fiberglass mark7 with your own files? or are you working on your own as well,still?

I have not done any Mk VII files... I am spending all my spare time on you guys, lol. Na... I want to do it but I am waiting till I finish the V2 model.

Was this directed at me regarding the fact I am waiting for my V2 files? lol yeah, I am in the same boat as you guys... waiting for me to finish the v2 files. I don't understand what the cheater comment was about though.

Better late than rushed! It's not like there isn't a V1 and countless armors to build

This is polyester putty I found in a auto repair shop.

is it heavy after u applied the putty?

From 8 grams in paper to a bit more than 100 grams with putty. But yeah, a resin armor is noticeably heavier than a foam build.

Hi Darkside501st and all, just wanted to post an update of my progress so far, and I can confirm that the Darkside501st MK7 chin/jaw will indeed fit snugly onto Sharkheads Mk6 should the question ever come up again.

Really enjoying the build so far and look forward to what's coming next.

And I'd like to say a personal thank you to Sharkhead, Darkside and Stealth who's youtube video tutorials guided me to this new hobby/adventure/insanity!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you Darkside - can't wait to get started on this in a few weeks when I have some free time. The models looks brilliant, beginning with the V2 helmet... just looking at some of these awesome buckets is making me itch to get back in the shop!

Hi all. i just finished all parts of the helmet and now I could need some help how can hold the 3 part (faceplate helmet and jaw) together for the resin part? Should I just glue them or is there a better way? Because I would like to motorize them later and

You need to use MINI BINDING CLIPS to get the faceplate in. It's really supposed to be hard to put the faceplate in so don't worry. Just clip one side while you're gluing the other side, then after gluing clip the glued sides and proceed to the next side. Leave it for about an entire day to dry then you can remove the clips
