well with the current plan I would be doing the initial bend on the square wire. Adjustments will be made by trimming the wire down to size to adjust the height of the claw. This will bring the claw closer to the top of your hand. Then the grip can be loosened to adjust the depth of the claw. This will bring the claws closer to the front of your hand. This part is the same. It is possible that in order to get a perfect fit which is comfortable for you to hold then you will need to bend the wire a little. However you will not need to worry about where to bend the wire. All you may have to do is tweak the bend that is already there to make it a little tighter or looser.

As for adjusting the spread of the claws... once I get a complete set made then I will figure out what works best and let you know.

I think what he meant was when adjusting the spread width after the claws are already fitted. Pushing the claws sideways won't be so easy anymore I would think. What would you suggest?

Yay that shipments are going out!

Boo that I'm far down on the list (which is really nobody's fault but my own, so that 'Boo' is primarily directed at myself with the rest directed at the laws of nature and the fact I cannot bend time and space to my will). Crossing fingers I'm lucky enough to get mine in time for DragonCon. If not, it'll be encouragement for me to stay in shape at least until next DragonCon (and save up my pennies for the jacket as well).

Ok so I finally got to take some pictures with me and the claws. Here they are. The claws look totally awesome. These are The Wolverine claws. Haven't taken any with the Origins claws yet. Still need to grow my hair out a bit and get the bearded part a bit thicker, but that is in the works. Or, should I say this look continues to grow on me. Haha. Bad joke I know. Also, thanks a million darkside.
