Dark Knight Rises

Well she could also be working with Bats by this point in the story... Who knows what relationship they'll have.

And with the picture of Anne Hathaway, it's official... The film is going to suck. Totally passing on it.

Coward! Do you not know talent when you see it? I suggest you at least wait for the trailer that actually features footage of her character. I've seen Anne Hathaway act in movies, and she is not bad at all.

I've seen Anne Hathaway act in movies too. And she's always played the same exact role, whiney, indecisive women. Hell, even her Alice in Wonderland role was whiney and indecisive. That is not who Catwoman is. Catwoman is a confident woman, strong, smart and often uses her sex appeal as a weapon (even more so with Batman). Anne Hathaway doesn't fit the criteria. Unless Nolan's idea of Catwoman is being a whiney, indecisive woman. Again, I'm passing.

That costume doesn't exactly say "Catwoman" to me... you know... with no mask or ears. It looks more like the "Charlie's Angels" movie. I guess I'll just have to live with the fact that Nolan's movies suck in the costume department.

I keep hoping that maybe these are the "first" suits that each one of the characters don and maybe they'll get better halfway through the movie?

Or maybe I'm just trying to be way too optimistic....

Catwoman looks like what I'd expect so far.
No issues there.

If this film is strongly character driven, then I'll be good with Bane too.

How did she learn to drive a Batpod?

Ye have little faith - I seem to remember lots of people saying how horrible the first pics of Ledger's Joker looked.

I'm glad they didnt put her in a "cat" costume.

I'm always surprised how many people make up their mind on a movie with a few pictures, but I guess I shouldn't be since it happens all the time.

Thanks for sharing Vivek, but I'm curious. Why do you repeat what you link in regular text? Is it some coding/searching issue on the forums?
On most forums, the hyper link is visible directly and I add the title indicating what the page is about.

But the forum software here converts the url to the page title which is usually visible on the browser window heading. It is actually good in a way and I don't need to repeat it. But sometimes it has some bugs, eg: YouTube links. You Tube urls converts into the video title but with special characters and some garbled text.

So depending on the website the title could be messed up or may not be visible (eg: AICN article titles are not coded to be visible in the browser heading hence will not appear automatically here on the forum).

Hence irrespective of the website I make it a standard, to mention the title separately as a text without depending on the forum for the url to title conversion.

Sorry for the long winded reply :$.

Yeah I don't get it either. I understand if people criticize the costume indefinitely. But judging the quality of the movie based on the costume or based on some pics alone is ridiculous.

Bad casting can destroy a film for me.

Look at that awful Nick Cage pic as Supes, if that were real.. you telling me you wouldn't scream in horror? LOL

I think one pic can say a lot... sometimes.

The Nu Conan, ugh. One pic was enough.
