Who is the Batman?

Hey geniuses, he drives a tank and has kevlar armor.

Look at the 6 richest guys in Gotham.

One of them is freakin' BATMAN.

This is what I loved about the TV he was a "duly deputized officer of the law".

Not a prime case for the looney bin with his mental problems.

I have enjoyed the Nolan outings thus far.

But I would love to see how a Timm/Dini live action Bats would go down.

If there never was a Batman comic, and you heard of someone prowling New York hunting criminals rich and poor, you would not say "it must be Donald Trump".
Rich guys are fat lazy and corrupt. They yell at their flunkies, go for lunch, and go to parties. They don't give a damn about the poor and protect their rich buddies.

And that whole 'deputy batman' thing was lame and unrealistic. How could he testify in court? Did you have a warrant deputy batman? Take off your mask and tell the court your real name please, deputy batman.
Sixties TV couldn't take a vigilante, so they made him a cop.
 
Wow... if they are filming those scenes now it must be hot. I've never understood... if you plan to film a movie that takes place in the winter, why don't you just shoot it in the winter? It's kind of like filming movies that are supposed to take place in the summer during the winter... meanwhile the actors have to wear skimpy outfits in the freezing cold.

Sigh... I it looks like they'll still be using the ugly TDK suit. I was really hoping we'd get something a little sleeker... maybe some cloth over the armor.

Reason i ask is in the 1st trailer i thought it was cool seeing batman stumble back and bane coming at him looked like bane was much larger and made a better battle

but after seeing these photos it looks like bane is bats little brother and not big at all?

I have a feeling he will look bigger on film. There are several camera tricks that can be used to make someone appear larger.

Among the many successive things the Batman animated series did right was the fact his identity was compromised on more than one occasion by villains in his rogues gallery most prominently Ra's al Ghul who put those very things together and walked straight into the Batcave.
 
I wonder if they will take some story elements out of the "Knightfall" storyline - looks that way considering the jailbreak, and of course Bane.
 
Kickass showed that you don't have to be a billionaire to get cool gadgets. Batman could just steal money from the mob.

i mentioned this a while back could be a great way for Nolan to end his franchise on the Bat, with Bane Paralysing Batman this leaves the door open for a new Batman perhaps a protege of Bruce waynes ??

(But seriously, to each their own... I think long hair is way sexier myself :angel )

I like the pic overall. Not crazy about those weird goggle things but I guess her wearing the classic noir style catwoman mask was asking too much :unsure Still, it's infinitely better than the Halle Berry version... which probably goes without saying.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if she is never "Catwoman" in this film, but a cat burglar named Selina Kyle. Perhaps the papers will call her "cat woman" as a notorious female cat burglar, but I could see her never dressing like a cat.

Do you think she steals the Batpod?

I'm betting you're right. And yeah, I'm guessing it's probably also a safe bet she swipes the batpod or at least tries to. I figure since it's an official pic of her on it, she must have something to do with it.
 
Did they ever name the Joker in TDK? Actually call him "the Joker"? They could probably get away with out ever calling her Catwoman as well.
