Here's my first attempt at sculpting a prop or anything in this scale. I loved the mask that Joker wears in the bank job at the start of the 2008 movie. So I got a cheap head to sculpt over and busted out the monster clay. I intended to cast the finished mask in resin (slush cast) which again would be a new process for me (I' make small collectable resin figures normally).
This is the process I took, not sure if it's the right way but it kind of worked. The only major problem I had was breaking the plaster she'll before I even used it, next time I'll be using fibreglass. I can still cast the mask it just takes a lot longer.
