Hey guys this is my first Sonic build. Actually, it's my first serious build if you don't count my RHoD. So any and all tips, comments, and ideas are VERY welcome.

Dalek-Themed Sonic Screwdriver (UPDATED)

Hey everyone. It's been a LONG time, but I've finally continued to work on my sonic. Here are some pics:

Now I've added everything except the emitter, which will end up looking like the Dalek extermination gun. But before I do that I need a little bit of help. I would really like the emitter to light up, but I'm not a very skilled electronics guy. In fact, I have no skill. So I need some help figuring out what red LED I should use, what kind of resistor, what kind of button, and how to power it. I wanted to use a AAA battery, but it will not fit in the base. (the grey pen part) So if someone could help me figure out what kind of button cell battery and how many I need, and what LED, button, and resistor to use, I'd be very grateful.

So please comment and constructively criticize my work. More pics to come soon! Thanks!

Well if Dalek Sec had lived maybe the Doctor would have given him this... He'd be the Doctor Dalek!

Here was my Dalek Sonic from the contest a while back:

It had to be found items so it's not quite what I would have liked but the concept was there. If you can pull any ideas from it you're more than welcome to them!
