I don't even know who Mr Bungle is. :lol I left a comment saying I had seen better pictures of the gun and it was poorly glued together paper and fibreglass, which is exactly what it was. He deleted every comment that didn't flat out praise it.
'Quality' is certianly in the eye of the beholder, however, there are two things in regards to that situation.
One, he should have represented the item exactly as it was described. The fact he copy pasted the description from Weta's own website to describe his item, will break his case and he will lose. Wether or not he counter sues for slander is another story.
Two, you shouldn't go bragging about his 'contracts'. First of all, I have serious doubts any respectible Film Prop website would give him a deal to make paper Pep models with fibreglass. Just look around the forum, someone else already made a beautiful DIY Arc Gun out of solid materials. Secondly, it's illegal, and considering that Weta staff are members here and frequently post, well, you're just asking for trouble.
I don't mean to use that as a threat, i'm just telling you like it is. He misrepresented the item and Mr. Bungle has the documentation of the auction to prove it, that's a fact. He dosen't own the trademark to the gun, and selling it will get him C&D'd provided this 'contract' business isn't just a bunch of BS. That's also a fact.
This is a public forum and I was not a stranger to bashing him, espically after the stupid crap he left on my YouTube page, however what I posted on his actual video was nothing but fact based on my observations, and what i've posted here is the bare facts of the situation.
