D.C.'s The Flash (tv series)

Ho. Lee. CRAP!!!!!!

What a brutal episode...

Then there's this bit of speculation:

That would be an interesting parallel to
the news broadcast in Earth2 stating that Robert Queen is the Arrow. It would seem on Earth2 the dads run the show!

I binge watched all of season one on Netflix, then found a few episodes of season two on CW and I have to say I really do like this show, the Dr.Wells of earth two reminds me a lot of Dr.Frankenstein he's....not real friendly and has his own agenda and screw ethics, after Zoom showed up though he may soften up a bit.

I also like Snart,he's a wild card but maybe less bad and more PO'd at the world in general.

My gripes so far -
1. Cisco build a few ****ing freeze guns you know they work on speedsters, if you had backed up your shot on Zoom with a freeze shot, game over
2. How did they capture Wells/Thrawn? Oh yeah, he got Arrow and Firestorm to help. No, let's go solo on someone you know is more powerful than Reverse Flash.
3. WTF Happened to the Super Computer? You know, the one Wells/Thrawn used that could see altered timelines, the one that now responds to Barry.
4. All characters in this show and Arrow - STOP KEEPING ****ING SECRETS FROM EACH OTHER. Secrets bite you in the ass and get people hurt/killed.

I Like the shows, but like The Walking Dead, intentional stupidity irks me.

Well, even if they had one available, I think everyone was in too much shock at Barry's condition to think to use it, and even then, with Barry's condition as it was, a blast from a cold gun might have killed him.

Time constraints. They had a limited amount of time between Zoom taking Linda and handing Barry his ass. Certainly not enough to call in the cavalry. And before you say "why didn't they call for help instead of the plan to use Earth 1 Linda to lure Zoom here?" it's because if Zoom had come through when they played out their (admittedly hilarious) scenario, he'd have been darted and put down (probably).

3. WTF Happened to the Super Computer? You know, the one Wells/Thrawn used that could see altered timelines, the one that now responds to Barry.

Morena Baccarin (the voice of Gideon) is now a main cast member on Gotham.

What Flash did with Zoom is pretty typical of a comic book-there's a limited way the "hero's" can react to a situation and usually something like this is a big life changing "teachable moment" ugh~why I don't read comics much anymore, however this shows is good enough I can overlook it.

One thing occurred to me...everyone is all about stopping Zoom, all about capturing him but I found myself asking-what do they know about him? I'd think trying to figger out his past and where he comes from would be best first then deal with the lunatic, for all they know maybe he ain't really human so how the hell do you deal with that? call Superman??

Also I know a lot of you are trying to say it's this guy or that guy-we just had that, some super fast guy who also was a time traveler why not like above have Zoom be...not human, maybe some way have the speed force come alive? I think that'd be more interesting then have another sop fest with it being Berry's dad from another reality.

If there is an exact double of Dr Light and Harrison Wells on Earth 2, why hasn't every one else got a double? Seems like Jay should just be Earth 2 Barry and so forth.

Everyone does have a double. That being said your double might have died in child birth car accident etc. Also just because your a big shot on one Earth doesn't mean you are on your other Earth. I believe Crash Davis said it best "How come in another life your always famous? How come nobody ever comes back and says that they were Joe Schmo?" I hope that answers your question.

Which is why I wouldn't doubt that Zoom is actually Barry on Earth 2 which is why he wants Barry on Earth 1 dead so badly!

It's an interesting premise but it doesn't fit what we know about Zoom from seeing him. As far as how he is built and the picture of the eyes that we saw I would lean more to the Henry line of thought. I personally and with no way to back this thought up think that it could be a completely new character. But hey what do I know.

What keeps the lights on and the employees paid at Star Labs now that Wells is dead?

I thought the crossover episodes were a mess.

"There's a new baddie in town, and apparently has a murderous hard-on for Kendra. We should ask Oliver for help protecting her, even though we don't usually have to ask for his help protecting people."

*Cut to Arrow Lair*

"Let's forget that Damian Dhark (who is still kicking our asses) just almost killed me, and help protect Cisco's girlfriend! But first we should get out of our costumes and have a little party in a location far less secure than the lair. OH, and I'll make a toast... Barry, don't steal my drink for no reason except cheap gags!"

"Look out, 2-dimensional Hawkman coming through! I was just a regular guy but then I "emerged" and remembered that I am a reincarnated Egyptian prince fated to repeatedly fall in love, and die, with Kendra whose real name is Shai'ra... No time to explain, Vandal Savage is going after some probably-mystical-and-powerful artifact and we have to stop him!"

ONE MORE THING! We can't have a crossover without Merlyn because fan service!

The plot was bumpy at best, and the dialogue was way below its usual bar. If you are going to waste the first crossover as an obvious setup for Legends of Tomorrow at least write it well and make us care about what happens to the characters...

AND THAT is why I always preferred Marvel over DC! It always seemed to me that when they couldn't figure out a plot line they just said "to heck with it, it's not real, who cares!?" and plopped everyone in regardless of a reason why. At least Marvel made sense!

To be fair, the first Captain America: Civil War trailer looks exactly like they couldn't figure out how to put that story in the cinematic universe, and thus plopped (almost) everyone in the film. Granted, I fully acknowledge that that is just a trailer, obviously doesn't give the full story, could be leading us on in an incorrect direction, etc. Just thought I'd make a point.

I suppose I am annoyed because the past crossovers provided more reasoning for teaming up, had far better dialogue, and (here's the big one) did not feel like a simple vehicle for another show's benefit.
