In my opinion, no. For the same money or less, you might be able to get:
• The same model from the original pattern maker
• A much brighter light system with more leds from Saint_G
•*Take your pick between a half dozen people to paint it with more care.
Then, schelp it to a con and get the actor to sign it, in person, if that's what floats your boat. Thats what I would do, because that price is ridiculous and the eye effect looks lackluster, but then again, I have built/lit/painted my own, so I'm pretty biased.
