"Cutaway" Judge Dredd Lawgiver Mk II

[Wake]

Jason Willbourn of Stentor Industries makes the Judge Dredd Lawgiver Mark II, Strontium Dog Westinghouse blaster, Alpha helmet and Electronux for Termight Replicas. He has just made a new run of lawgivers and decided to make a special transparent "cutaway" version for himself.

The gun contains six types of round, all with different shapes, and Jason has tried to make the weapon look like it would really work.

This version of the lawgiver is a one-off, and will not be made available through Termight Replicas.

Very cool! I was thinking how some other props could do with the cutaway design to them. Now someone should do the movie version!

Wow! Very nice! I can see some ball-point pen tips and maybe bicycle chains but is that a superglue cap as bullet casing? Very imaginative!

While we're on the subject, Wake, while looking at the normal Lawgiver Mark II on the Termight Replicas page, I noticed this picture:

Would you by any chance be able to share a larger version of that picture? I'm curious to get a better look at the gunsight above the handgrip, to see what was done with it on this prop. :cool

Originally I wanted a straight hollow tube from the sighting tube at the back through to the red targeting sensor at the front, but it didn't quite work and if someone was building this gun for real the sight wouldn't need to be in line.

I don't seem to have a larger version of that thumbnail here at work. I'll check at home this evening.

That's a fantastic replica of the Lawgiver you've put together there. I especially like the "scuffed" finish, that makes it look that much more realistic. Might have to order one of those sometime soon. :cool
