why don't you just follow what was done for the original
its well documented in photos from the studio on how they
did his hand and they used the same exact setup for THING in F4

so? has anybody had more ideas, been tinkering with the idea of this for a while and would really love to give this a go, as I have been unable to work on any of the helmets I've been building for months due to awful weather condition and the electrics dying in my workshop. But I have a vast abundance of insulation foam, car body filler, 2mm sheet plastic,some mdf and a new band saw, which I have set up in my computer room (My missus just LOVES the saw being in there, she absolutely adores the wood dust) What I need is some good dimensions of the sideshow replica. I've got the size at 19 inches in length. but am then a little confused as the dimensions I've found on the net says its 10 inches wide and 9.5 inches in diameter. So, is the 10 inches, the stand? Can anyone holler out with as many measurements as possible like full length, width, length of fingers, even armhole size and I would be mucho greatful and will start this project tomorrow morning. Will then have 2 full days to work on it.
