I ran into a few issues when making the hammer. The first was the difficulty in trimming pieces of Styrofoam.I tried glueing the pieces together and found that glue melts it and so does spray paint and permanent marker. Currently I am looking for glue that I can use to attach the handle and I founds that staining it with puff paint works so I will finish the hammer with more puff paint The handle was from an empty roll of cling wrap and the styrofoam came from packaging.

I wanted to have the discs on the chest pop out rather than lay flat so I got the idea of using mini Frisbee's. I have painted them with several layers and the halloween pictures are still slightly visible painted silver but I will continue adding layers until they can no longer be seen. I found these on ebay for under $5.

I used a spandex style sports shirt and cut the sleeves off. The cape was a sheet that I cut to size and sewed to the shoulders. Both items I found at a thrift store.
