Crazydog500's The Amazing Spiderman 2 Build

Here is a quick update and a few pics of the back piece. I will have more shots soon after i finish a few more areas of the webbing.

This looks amazing! Stellar job man! Where did you get the latex/thickener for the webbing? do you think one could get away with using a mix of clear silicone and acrylic paint to do both spiders and the webbing? I'm just starting to test options and ideas for my upcoming project so I hope you'll excuse me for the newbie question.

WOW! how did you get these webs so perfect? you used latex, right? did you use latex alone or mixed? how did you apply it? sorry for all the questions lol just really like how it's turning out.

Vakarian: Thanks Man! I got the latex from Monster Makers and got a Quart of it. The latex was pretty good in thickness, so sometimes i don't need to mix thickener. If it's too thin, then you can get latex thickener on ebay. It basically looks like a bag of white powder. As the silicone i wouldn't use a acrylic paint, you need to use a silicone tint or pigment. You can get this on Smooth On's website.

Anzh: All it is regular white latex from Monster Makers. I used black FW ink to tint it. Then put it in a applicator bottle, then started on the webbing,

Really? I have some, but it has a water-like consistency. was this a problem for you?
