Oh yeah. I was compulsive. Obsessive-compulsive.

This little Reliant I cut, carved, shaped and sanded out of thin balsa sheet. I figure this weency thing isn't much more than 1/3200 or somewheres in there.

I did this during my single bachelor, Navy days back in 1992. I dug it out and fixed the broken roll bar and starboard nacelle pylon.

This is one of my very few 100 percent scratch jobs. Especially a subject this old.

I don't think I could do this now. I'm getting too old for that sorta thing.

But...all things considered, I was surprised at how close the dimensions came out being, what with it made of balsa...

That's a lot of sanding.... What was I thinking back then?? :cry :p
