Any time, broThanks guys! And yeah I always get a good response and the other people seem to enjoy it. Thanks for the inspiring words, Looch!
I was just talking about this with a friend. Did you know there was actually a web-series after the "pilot"? It was like 6 episodes or something. I haven't had a chance to watch them yet, but I'd really like to. "Nuka Break" is one of the best fan films I've ever seen.
And yeah, it would be a neat costume!
I'm a pretty hefty gentleman so I run into this problem a lot. I'm about 6'3" 400lbs.
My suggestions are to do a custom character unless you're basing your costume on a heavier character. I wanted to do a Boba Fett costume for a long time but I don't want to be called, "Boba Fat" or something, so I designed a character that plays on my physical attributes.
I'm tall (but not that tall) and very heavy. I also have long hair and a beard. So I designed this:

I made a sort of barbarian / hunter kind of Mandalorian instead of trying to be a fat Boba Fett. And Mandalorians are supposed to be commandos or soldiers, and you don't traditionally see too many chubby commandos so I took the idea and molded it to fit me. I think it worked fairly well.
I'm trying the same thing with a Ghostbuster now (early concept pic)

Identify your strengths and use them. Big guys are generally pretty imposing, so try to be intimidating. If your costume fits well, people can mistake fat for muscle and you can use that to your advantage.
Also identify things or times where heavier people are more socially acceptable. Basically any time in history before now. Try dressing like a warrior, Viking, barbarian, etc.
And of course, make sure your clothes fit and maybe draw your attention away from your, "problem areas." There's only so much you can do with that but for example, I have a HUGE belly. So I made a wide belt to sinch it in on my Mandalorian. I also have my pouches positioned so they sit slightly UNDER my gut, which helps to even out my upper body. I'm also wearing a slightly padded, "man-zier" or "bro" if you will. I designed a small under shirt with some pads around my chest to help make my chest even with my belly. Also adding things to help bulk your shoulders helps.
And with my Ghostbuster, I added 2 straps from my proton pack frame straps to my pistol belt. This helps give the illusion of a slightly V-shaped torso. It also holds up my belt so it can sit a little higher than average to prevent my spare tire from hanging over it.
Also, they make spanx for men. And girdles and other things to help sell the illusion of thin-ness or muscle tone. I've never tried them but I imagine they would help.

I would try marvels juggernaut with a armor chest concept or iron man hulkbuster.
