Sorry for the stupid throwaway thread, but... 
For a few years now I've been kicking around the idea of building Picard's U.S.S. Stargazer from the 1/350 Polar Lights TMP Enterprise parts. Looking recently at some measurements and comparing to known donor parts (specifically the 1/72 IMAI VF-1 Valkyries), I believe the the Polar Lights parts would be pretty close to studio scale. Has anyone seen anyone attempt this build? This is mostly daydreaming on my part, I'm not sure that I'm ready to undertake this huge project just now (nor whether I want to sacrifice both of my Polar Lights kits!).
