I will try to keep it around $250. The new foundry i am using is a lot more expensive than the one i used before (for my omnis). But there are a lot of advantages: they are in the Netherlands where i live, their quality standards are very, very high, they use a much higher grade brass and they cast in a vacuum. So the results are nearly flawless.

foundry people will be at work again next week, and i am sending them the pieces for molding and casting then.

Foundry has been very busy, they are currently molding the pieces.

Actually... I'm a bit glad about this delay, as it meant that I was able to jump on something else and still get money enough for this piece when the time comes. :lol

no news so far as I can tell.. I wish I had jumped on the resin one.. just to hold me over until the metal one came out. :love

Hi peeps,

Waiting for the first parts to get back from the foundry, they are just a 2 man shop and have been flooded with work lately.

As soon as the first parts are in and i know how much it will cost per lighter and how long they will take to finish, i will start an interrest thread.

shouldn't be long now. I also found a company nearby that can do the plating of the coins

Noooooooo... this couldn't have come at a more terrible time for me... waaaaah :cry I'm moving next month and therefore have no funds to spare. As things are now, for me, I can't sign up for this.

I take it the 2nd run will happen immediately after the first one?
