Well folks, as the title reads, my plans to offer all metal replical Korben Dallas blasters has been officially cancelled.

But here's the fun part. It's up to YOU guys to figure out why. So pull out your best conspiracy theories (my vote is for the RPF mods ordering me to do it so that Rich Coyle will stop picking on me...) and let me know what you think. Though there's no prize for getting it right (though if I'm entertained enough, I might reconsider this), I'd love to see what you guys come up with. And I'll let you know if you're getting warmer or colder.

Since it seems that EVERYTHING prop folks do on this board is fueled by some kind of conspiracy, i thought this might be a good opportunity to collect them in one place. I've alwasy been a fan of the "they changed the spec because Lucas doesn't want exact replicas out in the market" theory, but I'm not sure how it would apply to this scenario.

Please note that I will continue to work on my own copy of the KDG for myself, but I will not be selling any to anyone. Sincerest apologies to those who expressed interest in the project.

The only problem with this brilliant theory is the timing.

Its a well known and documented fact that my ego became too big for my body to support MANY years ago.

Other than that, it's quite sound. :lol

My theory is that you're not really cancelling this project at all. Its all a clever ruse to throw "the Man" off the trail and get his foot off your neck. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, PMs are flying furiously letting all interested parties know that the project is still a go and there's even a super secret forum dedicated to it. Soon, those in the know will be seen sporting special banners in their RPF sigs with cryptic sayings. Some will be angry, many will be confused, but it will be oh so much fun. *squeals like a schoolgirl*
