dont know if this is posted in the right place but am looking for someone to do a commissioned work. well kind of shopping around at the moment to see where i can get the best prices, etc. interested in getting this made:

BTW, does not have to be 1:1 scaled, but close would be nice

it is from the Showtime series "Dexter", fingertips frozen in an ice block. here are some more pics:

The fingertips look like to me those novelty finger tips you can buy at halloween trimmed and painted.
The clear resin for this would be very expensive, its massive.

I made an origami unicorn suspended in clear resin once. Doing so was no easy task and fairly expensive. Image below:

This had to be done in three layers. Each layer required a different measurement of catylist in order for the whole piece to cure correctly. It's possible that there is a more efficient way of creating what you want there. Dunno. :unsure

You'd need a very large pressure pot and a hell of a lot of clear resin to do 1:1.
