Re: Collection Showoff- ANH Vader pg 7! Bestas pg 8!

I know i already said this a few times in this very thread but you truely have the most amazing collection of top-notch props i´ve ever seen.

I guess that makes you my personal prop king, so hail to the king! :):thumbsup

Re: Collection Showoff- ANH Vader pg 7! Bestas pg 8!

Wow love the collection, especially the Batman stuff since I've developed an interest in that lately.

What I wouldnt give for that much space. :)

Re: Collection Showoff- ANH Vader pg 7! Bestas pg 8!

The whole collection is breathtaking, no doubt.
But that ANH Vader of yours has me salivating buckets full right now.

Re: Collection Showoff- ANH Vader pg 7! Bestas pg 8!

Just looked through the thread again... WOW, what a collection... and displayed well! :thumbsup

Re: Collection Showoff- ANH Vader pg 7! Bestas pg 8!

wow, what a collection!! I keep coming back to see the pics lol

and more pics you shall have!!! I have a few more items that arrived recently and need to take pictures of... stand by! :thumbsup

Beautiful collection!!! I always get super jealous when I see your Judge dredd stuff! Lucky Duck!!!

if you ever wanna part with it ill be waiting! lol

Yes, It is unfortunate no one ever made more Dredd stuff. I always assumed that someone would attempt to at least make the eagle shoulder armor for us fellow dredd fans.

His basement/collection rivals that of some touring exhibits I have seen. Lol

Nah! C'mon. Whoever puts together those exhibits are professionals. They can at least display these things properly. I, on the other hand, am struggling to keep my room from looking like Applebees. :lol

Such an awesome collection. . . I want to move in! I can live inside the Batsuit. . .

:D I always enjoy coming back to read this thread and seeing what else you've done, or what your next little project is. And also to feed my jealousy and greed. Great stuff!

Plenty of spiders in there as bunk mates for ya' (at least in that old rubies suit that I need to get rid of one day)
As the ferengi say - Greed is eternal - If anything my collection show the ridiculous talent of many members here on the board.

Simply AWESOME!!!! Great Collection!!!
Love your ANH Vader!!!!!!

Thank you thank you - it is one of my favorites as well! :thumbsup

Nah - no kings here (except for maybe Munson, or Young :rolleyes) - I'm just happy to meet you guys and putz around during work.

Yea, most of the space came from my renovation (somewhere back in the earlier pages of this thread). The contractors said that they needed to dig 4 feet down to build a foundation for the extension on my house. I figured, hell, if you have to dig down 4 feet, you might as well just dig down 10 feet and I'll get a bigger basement too!

Batman stuff is what got me into this darn money sucking hobby in the first place. Believe it or not, it is the most lacking part of my collection. I just have the worst luck with Batman stuff. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or not motivated enough or what... it's quite frustrating.. Hopefully my luck will change soon.

The whole collection is breathtaking, no doubt.
But that ANH Vader of yours has me salivating buckets full right now.

Thank you thank you - contact some of those guys that I listed back on page 7 - I'm sure you'll be able to make one yourself too.

Just looked through the thread again... WOW, what a collection... and displayed well! :thumbsup

Thanks man! Yea, it's been changed again and again. I should really bite the bullet and really spend some serious money on making a proper unified display for everything.... It's just hard to commit and make up your mind on themes, colors..etc.

dude how much money do you make to buy this stuff .....jealous !!!!

I'd probably make more if I didn't spend so much time here.. :lol

Vader looks excellent! Well done!

Thank you thank you. I'm debating if I should change the pose or not. After a while the pose kind of grows on you though.

Okay - more updates coming guys!

I was looking at your Star Destroyer here and I was thinking once Randy finishes my 9 ft Star Destroyer I might get a little tiny one like yours. It can be my Star Destroyer's baby.:lol:lol:lol

Re: Collection Showoff- ANH Vader pg 7! Bestas pg 8!

Usually it takes me a month or two after I get a prop to show it here on the boards. However, I received something truly amazing this week and wanted to share. I think as of right now it would be considered the "ultimate pulse rifle". This piece was delivered and made by SDStudios

I'm not really a gun person, but this was something that I just couldn't pass up. There are only (currently) five of these in the world. ALL metal, with real parts, HCG metal shrouds that have been completely re-planed, cleaned-up, and machined, working pump action, digital counter…NON-firing, but EVERYTHING operates (including switches for full auto, single shot and retractable butt stock). 20 pounds of glory (the above description was taken from SDStudios, but I couldn't describe it any better myself)

The Thompson lower, SPAS and Remington are real. The Tommy receiver is an aluminum replica.

Bottom line, the rifle is ridiculously heavy, and it makes that excellent "cha-chack!" noise when you rack it.. It's ALL metal, with as many real parts as possible. It's an RPFer's dream! No, I wouldn't be able to shoot any intruders that enter the house - but I would be able to bludgen them to death due to the quality of the build, and the heavy metal parts.

By the way - I would also like to add that Steve from SDStudios is really a pleasure to work with. Truly a professional, and he responded to my every question and need within hours.

Okay - onto the pics! I need a stand or something - so these pics thusfar are pretty boring and flat.

Oh my god ... I want to be you !!!!!

You have won at the lottery the same day than Alan ??`

Nice collection !

Re: Collection Showoff- "ultimate" Pulse Rifle pg.9

I like the clean look of the stands as well...you must make them all to keep with the symmetry.

sadly I haven't won the lottery yet... still trying though! :cool

The Superman and Crystal display is the best!

Thanks. There will be huge updates to the superman and crystal display soon... once I get some other stuff finished. I'm attempting to upgrade everything all at once!

Re: collection showoff! - "Ultimate" Pulse Rifle pg.9

That PR is a thing of beauty Thomas. Color me insanely green with envy!!!

Re: collection showoff! - "Ultimate" Pulse Rifle pg.9

Thanks for the kind words, Thomas!

I hadn't actually seen this thread, but someone sent me a link saying my PR was being discussed.

Cool.

I must also give credit to Matsuo who does my awesome Remington deacs (gotta keep it legal) and to LIGHTBENDERS who does the digital counters. They are MUCH smaller and easier to install than my old, BIG boards. I used to have to WRESTLE the older ones into place!

The HCG shrouds are great, but if you are really nit-picky (like me) as Thomas noted, they require a LOT of re-work, re-machining, planing, filling in the weird gaps, etc etc to look really good.

I am making two more of these for customers over the next 4 to 5 months, so if you got the moolah, there is always room for one more! :lol

Re: collection showoff! - "Ultimate" Pulse Rifle pg.9

If you don't mind me asking. Is the dredd shoulder armor an actual prop or fan made. I've pretty built my costume completely from scratch. With exception of my helmet from grumble garage in the works. So any advice or connects in getting started on the movie armor? Most everything I've come across is comic style. Thanks again. And some extra close ups would be cool. I have an SD studios lawgiver kit for an aorsoft pistol and it is superb.
-CHEERS!!!

Re: collection showoff! - "Ultimate" Pulse Rifle pg.9

The more I see the more I get jealous!

I'm not sure if I'm jealous of the props or the space in which you have to display them................. Hang on it's both.:lol

That's seriously a beautiful collection and basement. :thumbsup
