Man, that baby prop looks soooo real! There have to be some crazy animatronics going on there, and that skin texture must've taken you ages...at least 8 months or so anyway.
Think you'll ever do a run of them? :lol

Attempting to mass produce one of these things is what got me into this mess in the first placelove After a week now of no sleep - I think I'm shutting down the factory.
Thanks Rel - that means a lot - Don't worry - I"m leaving all that middle space up front for all the SS models. It's going to be awesome :thumbsup
Hah - yea - It definitely a good thing to have, prop room or not. It really changes the feel of the house - I'm looking for other places to put hidden compartments or doors. It's just so much fun!

Yup - I'm kind of a hermit. People are always asking me to go to bars and clubs for a "night on the town" but I never go. I have everything I need at home.

lifesize 1:1 Yoda from Natty15d. He's a great seller, there was constant communication and shipping was prompt with tracking and everything.
Here's the description of the Yoda. I love it!
-the head was sculpted by Cyberman and is made from resin with glass eyes, custom paintjob, glass eyes, teeth and hair.
-the body was custom made for the display
-hands are latex and have limited poseability.
-the feet were custom made in resin, with separately applied toe nails and custom paintjob.
-The inner robe is cotton and dyed to match the screen used robes
-The outer robe is made from Tussah silk, just as the screen used robes were, and weathered with chalks and pastels and distressed to give it the screen used look
-Real leather belt and pouch
-Custom made walking stick
-Flute/necklace by Guntahkela, repainted and weathered to match the screen used version

^^^^ see? no slow down in collecting. Now Yoda can babysit my baby. (excuse the ridiculous clutter in the living room)

Yoda is a wonderful addition. I've always been very fond of that sculpt.

Thanks thanks - Yea the bookshelf door was something that I always wanted. It was a fairly easy sell because I was able to add some extra storage space in the kitchen too. One of the few prop related things that was actually practical and functional.
Hmm.. Vader Helmets.... yea I wish I actually knew a tenth of what the vader experts on this board know about them. I've just read a lot of threads of people discussing the helmets and the origins of the helmets and went after the "best that I could afford." They all have their shortfalls apparently but I love them all.
The descriptions are right above the picture on page 1 of this thread, (who made them and which seller I got them from)

More pics of Yoda - the arms are sorta poseable so I put one arm down to show the necklace, the inner robe, belt... etc. I actually like it in this pose as well. I realized that when I plopped the head down in the last round of pics, I inadvertantly folded the collar inwards.. so i pulled that out too.
Here's are 5th element stones that I found in my basement. They're from SD Studios... Great great great paint job from a great guy. Pictures were taken with flash, but the details and paint didn't even look washed out. :thumbsup
