Coating Foam in Resin Question

I saw that foam can be coated in Resin to give it a more plastic or metal look. From what I've seen on youtube, I have to first coat the foam in wood glue to seal it and then I can coat it in the resin. I have also seen that you can seal the foam with Plasti Dip. Is it possible to seal the foam in Plasti Dip and then coat it in the Resin? Or do I have to use the Wood Glue?

Thanks

Jorge

As long as whatever you use creates a barrier between the resin and the foam it's coating. It should work fine. Plastidip however is way more expensive than regular PVA to coat your foam with.
