CLONE WARS weekly discussion thread

Has the origin of that nickname ever been revealed?

EDIT: I was just thinking...this show has what, seventy something episodes under its belt? So those actors have played Anakin and Obi-Wan far, far longer than anyone did in the live action films. Now, nobody is going to upstage Alec and Ewan in my mind, but as for Anakin...I have to say that the CW actor is starting to feel like the "real" Anakin in my mind. He can (voice) act circles around Hayden C.

An actor can only say what's in the script. And the prequels didn't have much to work with.

That prison is the easiest to escape from since Hogans Heroes. Poor design, poor security precautions. Guards walking on the floor with blasters. Open balconies.
Maybe they were told to let them go, but several got killed. And the Jedi knew it would probably happen.

Yeah seeing that the Jedi were okay with the Clonetroopers getting killed seemed very un-Jedi like. It goes back to the RC novels where the Mandalorian sergeants hated the Jedi more because most treated them like cannon fodder, not soldiers.

From TheForce.Net - Latest News - Filoni Does Some More TCW Teasing On FB

The Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni answered fan questions on Facebook today and gave us all a few more glimpses at what's to come in the series.

Redoing older episodes: "It’s tempting, but at the same time, seeing those episodes reminds me of how much we have evolved as a creative team, and I’m very proud of my crew for that. But if George said “Dave, go make your special edition,” I would not say no."

Order 66: "If we do [see it on TCW], it would be from a different perspective than we saw it in the films."

What's to come for the saga's newest main character: "Ahsoka is going to face one of her biggest challenges ever next season."

Mother Talzin: "he's actually more important than people guess."

This weapon is your life: "You will learn much more about lightsabers in the future."

•Filoni also noted that we will be seeing Tusken Raiders on the show, "but in the future, not soon." Anakin Skywalker flashbacks perhaps?

Sorry, pictures aren't in HD =(

I'd do her.

It's nice seeing Blonde people as warriors for a change, rather bimbos/weirdos/ and weaklings. Apparently someone remembered Vikings were blonds.

[blonde = female, blond = male. Check any dictionary.]

Blooper!

Well, it was really nice episode and I love it, but...

Look here:

"Rako Hardeen" definitely cannot reach the trigger by his finger.
The same blooper we even more clearly see here:

But then, sniper rifle goes off charge, the grip magically has moved forward!

And again, when "Rako Hardeen" checks charge indicator, trigger is out of reach! See:

With all due respect to creators of the movie, please, do not do such bloopers again.

You don't have to be a viking to be a skillful warrior, nor do you have to be blond.

I thought it was another good episode! Got my Embo fix.. :cool
I still think CW is one of the most beautifully animated shows ever! The way they handle the 'cinematic' and lighting design just blows my mind.

Agreed on the cinematic feel to this show. Just finished watching it on DVR. This four parter has been the best to date. Really liking the action sequences! I'm looking forward to the finale'!
