Found this old Clone Trooper Nerf blaster at Goodwill a few days ago. It was in pretty rough shape, considering it's about 15 years old and was probably played with a lot by its previous owner. The paint was chipped, the battery leads for the scope were slightly corroded, and the front sight had partially come off. I cleaned off the leads with some alcohol-soaked Q-tips, reattached the front sight by plastic welding it, and began sanding the whole thing for repainting. I also filled in the unnecessary screw holes, except for the rear one for the battery compartment, with epoxy.
Once everything was sanded, I gave the blaster a few coats of flat black and filled in all the extra details with a metallic silver paint pen. I sealed the blaster with a couple of coats of Kamar varnish.
