I’m super happy with what he did. And he was even willing to make some minor customizing that I requested to track the screencaps.I like that London Jack puts a silver buckle on the holster strap and brass on the belt actual just like the original
what did he do for your rig ?I’m super happy with what he did. And he was even willing to make some minor customizing that I requested to track the screencaps.
It was mostly deciding on the right number of loops that would allow for getting the right placement of the holster and belt loops relative to the stitch pattern. I wanted to achieve the look in the pic below, which had the holster separated a bit from the bullet loops. But that was difficult to achieve with what would have been screen accurate 30 belt loops, given the size of the belt that I chose. I ended up going with a 39” belt I believe, whereas Clint wore a 41”. So it was that kind of stuff. I also sourced the belt buckle separately.what did he do for your rig ?

Nice job...the original Anderson belt/s where 41" and Clint wore it on the tightest hole, at 6 '4" he was quite skinny ! In FAFDM he gives L. V.C. his rig and it fits him ! L.V.C. Was six two so still very slim.... The original was cut on a curve though so would sit a particular way !It was mostly deciding on the right number of loops that would allow for getting the right placement of the holster and belt loops relative to the stitch pattern. Been out of this game for a bit, but I did grab some new fabric to update my shirt. Making one for myself and another fella.
Fingers crossed I can get my poncho going soon. My holster needs a little love. I really want to re-dye the edges to burnish them up a bit more.
Loving seeing all the folks working on this costume too.

The Clint costume was pretty beat up , so I guess wear 'n' tear is authentic !Been out of this game for a bit, but I did grab some new fabric to update my shirt. Making one for myself and another fella.

From GB&U , looks in Very good shape...It looks like one of the other shirts from the final film in trilogy has surfaced and is set to be auctioned in September:

I feel like it’s extremely rare to see any sort of costume piece from these films still in existence.
Clint was quite thin and 6'4" (1.93m). That's why he's lanky. The vest was altered to fit his body a bit tighter. Not only that, but pants in the 60s – really, before the 80s – were worn higher up by the natural waistline. Modern pants sit closer to the pelvic crest. The shirt itself seems to be a heavier cotton shirt. It's not as thin as a dress shirt. By the way, here's a photo better showing his shirt and the closest matching shirt that I'm on the lookout for.I believe his clothes when he has the poncho classic MWNN look are a size too small to get the lanky silhouette !
I had gotten a request to replicate this shirt, but the reference was limited at best. Time to get cracking on the pattern to have printed! Thanks for sharing! It looks like one of the other shirts from the final film in trilogy has surfaced and is set to be auctioned in September:

How about removing the flaps? Possible or are they sitting higher than the upper parts of the pockets?Clint was quite thin and 6'4" (1.93m). That's why he's lanky. This shirt would be practically perfect if it didn't have the pocket flaps. I'm just keeping an eye out for one in my size.
Oops. Notifications made me think you quoted me. Sorry!I had gotten a request to replicate this shirt, but the reference was limited at best. Time to get cracking on the pattern to have printed! Thanks for sharing!
I don't know. I think it should be possible though. The only concern about making an alteration to remove the flaps is whether doing so would leave behind holes in the fabric. That Woolrich is, in my opinion, the closest shirt that I've seen because it also has large chest pockets placed below the chest. I've not seen a good one without chest pocket flaps, let alone one with a rounded collar. How about removing the flaps? Possible or are they sitting higher than the upper parts of the pockets?
