Classic Venom

So starting a costume build for classic venom. This is the venom from lethal protector series, not the later iterations that have him hulking size nor the venom from the latest movie. This process is going to take some time as I work a ton and have a child which takes up the majority of my time. I have multiple ideas on it and they are always evolving. Always looking for advice. Hoping mine looks as great as Mikefu creation as his works are amazing.

To decipher some of the pictures above I will list them below:
1. muscles cut out of 1" and 1/2" foam
2. Teeth made from polymorphic plastic
3. Two sets of claws, still trying to figure out which one I like the best. (Might go 3D printing route instead of these)
4. I made a head cast and added some clay to form venoms head. I originally planned to put worbla to the clay to create a kind of skull for Venom but this is proving a little more difficult as I have little experience with worbla. Recently I've been looking at the 3d mask for Venom and might go that route.

Thank you George,
So some more information about the suit. I bought the white zentai suit so that I can draw on it for muscle placement, I plan on after getting the muscles the way I like them, I will be buying a second zentai suit as a sort of skin to place over the first suit so that the muscles flow move evenly between the other muscles. I plan on coating most of the suit with a silicone rubber for the skin. I also planning on certain areas getting little to no rubber to allow for some breathability. Also planning a few gel cooling packs that will be place in the inside of the costume to keep me cool.

I'm thinking of adding web shooters like these to the costume with a few adjustments so that they are flatter and on top of the wrist vs below the wrist

Kind of pleased with the first muscle placement but still got a few areas to improved, I need to make the shoulders bigger and less space between the muscles in the front. Those last to pictures are also missing a few additional muscles that I will be adding shortly.

1585929066588.png1585929115805.png So I was originally going to design the mask but found a talented 3d artist who design this mask for me. Way more talented than what I can create. Also the guy made this close to my head shape as possible so it won't be to oversized compared to other mask I've seen online. Still working on the body suit and will hopefully have more photos with the adjustments soon. Thank you for all that are looking in on my thread. Unfortunately my costume will be missing the famous venom tongue but this mask is to good already and I will be still great without it.

Sorry for taking long on adding new stuff as dealing with other expenses in my life and being busy with other things but here are a few new pics of progress. Looking for feedback on how to thincken the lower legs as they look like chicken legs. Thinking aboutdoing a thin layer of foam to fix the problem. Also going to add some ribs below the pecks and on the side of the abs to. Going to leave the waist still small though so that it make the upper torso look bigger.

I would google pictures of muscle anatomy to see how they are organized and then base additional muscles on that.
You're well on your way(y) just add muscle to open spaces according to your research

Thank you for the advice, I've been doing that for some of the other muscles but the legs that are exposed don't really have any additional muscles to be added on. I think I will just add a smaller layer of foam around half the leg to add more thickness. Looking at these pictures, I'm realizing I will have to smooth out some more muscles before putting the second layers on.

Note to people building muscle suits, do not glue foam straight to a lyca suit with no clothes underneath the suit. I wore the suit to make sure the muscles were accurately put in the correct spots, without an underlayer of clothing it will stick to your skin through the suit and be very painful in removing.

Very cool:cool:
Don't worry; just post progress when you can.
Family first; be safe and healthy.I hope everyone is alright with regard to Covid and all.

P.s.: you could introduce your kids to the world of pepakura and they can celebrate their fandom this way, or even craft together with you when there is time.I know I would have if this stuff was around about 30 years ago :p

Hey George,
One kid is almost 2 and the other is less than a month. Might be a while before i can introduce them but thanks for the idea.

First eye prototype, going to have multiple attempts to figure out what works the best. Also have the cloth for the inside of the mask. These eyes did get messed up in there creation so i will be redoing them if they are the route i choose to go. Will hold a vote once i have the multiple design with this community to see what members think works the best.

Three different eye options, thinking either the current or the flat option on the left. The reflective third option has the least visibility but do look cool in the previous photo i shared. What do you all think?
1. Left flat eyes no reflective property
2. Center flat eyes + plastic lens for reflective property
3. Chrome eyes, completely reflective but not white.
