Ok, I have a number of resin parts that I REALLY need to look like chrome. There cheep parts, so I don't want to put a ton of money into them, and there going to be mostly for display, so they don't have to be indestructible.
I've tried chrome paint, both spray, and airbrush, and I HATE what I've got from them. soft paint, that seems to never truly cure, in my climate, and a non-reliable finish.
So what are my options. Is there a way to do something cool at home? Vacuum metalizing perhaps? or, is there a place where I could get them chromed cheep? Is there an option I don't know about?
Thanks
Jason
