I was just about to ask about the very recognizable tv stacking when I saw the last bit of text at the bottom. Did you ever do the long stick remote? We had one with a slot in the end for turning the knob.
No. My brother and I would fight to see who got to change the channel, for those who don’t know, the tv had chrome buttons that you pushed to change the channel. You held it down and it would go ka-chunk ka-chunk as it rotated the dial for you. Since we had 70’s shag carpet you were guaranteed to get a shock touching it. Somehow we enjoyed being shocked and laughing, or shuffling our feet to build up a charge and shock each other.
