Many of us grew up in the 70’s-90’s, a golden age for toys, which have now become collectible. Post your pics of birthdays, Christmas, or whatever.

Here’s young scarf lad on Christmas morning 1984.

I had just witnessed my prized new speederbike slide out of its white plastic tray and fall between the couch cushions.

Here I am sometime in the mid 90s with my vintage figures. I would go to yard sales and flea markets looking for these with my mom. Great memories. And I had them separated good guys / bad guys haha

I got nearly all my vintage SW at thrift stores and flea markets as well in the early 90s with my mom. I loved toy hunting back then- the local thrift store had tons of small bags of toys hanging over the clothing areas, so my mom got to clothes shop while I looked above for more SW figures! Great times.

This is actually my younger brother, Christmas 1990. Hes the one that wanted the NES. I wasn't really into games at the time. Was more of going out, riding bikes, and for toys, mainly played with Legos.....but that night changed EVERYTHING.....

So by Christmas 1992, my brother wanted the Sega Genesis. I had been mowing lawns all summer, which was ours, where my Dad paid me a dollar for the front, and $2 for the back....so a whoppin' $3 dollars if I did the whole thing. But also that summer, our neighbor, on a corner lot, had me do his lawn, and for $10. So I could make a whole $13 a week. I was saving up for a Super Nintendo. I think I had enough by late November. My Dad convinced me, that if I wanted til after Christmas, it would be on sale, so I could save money.
Surprise surprise.....and surprised I was to get that also for Christmas. Got me the core system, so one controller no games....but they did get me TMNT4: Turtles in Time. I had to buy the 2nd controller though. And then here, 2022, so 30 years later....with that same SNES. (and sticker of a friend and I on the eject button)

Great memories for sure. I'll have to go digging for more pics here eventually.
Hope to see more of everyone elses childhood memories.

Remembered I had a few more on my phone.
Older one sometime in the late 80s. I had seen the commercial for the board game, Bed Bugs, and just HAD to have it.
Ended up being stupid. After that, anything I might have wanted that my parents could tell didn't look so great, it became our family catchphrase of, "It's not another Bed Bugs, is it?"

Christmas 2009...so adult child? Right.
I know I shared it when I redid this last year, but we surely can't ever get enough Millennium Falcon.

I can definitely find plenty more pics....with my parents having shoe box after shoe box of photos, you guys will be begging me to stop posting...lol.
I'll just find a good handful more of some good old pictures.

Not sure exactly what the Death Star set was but it had an elevator. And I remember the tie fighter had buttons that made the wings shoot off for imaginary battle damage. So fun!

Wish I had them now. Probably worth a lot!
(Photo is from ‘85 I think)

That was a grail playset, I never had one. I got the Ewok village as my one big playset in the mid eighties.

I was s-t-y-l-i-s-h!!!! ;)

I see those old photos and all the cool toys and wish I would still have them all.
I do have my Shogun Godzilla to this day, just no box.
The look of that suit reminds me of Jack Burton in disguise looking for green eyed girls in “Big Trouble in Little China”. Can’t compete with laellee ‘s laid back boy of leisure look IMO.

It wasn’t so much about his outfit, it was more about the pose and attitude. He rocked “cool”.
