Chicken is not Authenic ;( Please read update

I was horrified to find out that it was GUY RAZ! that did the run. I have destroyed the chicken as I will not own anything from that child molester!

In addition, it seams that we were deceived and it was not the guy that did them for the film. I have looked at the photos and I am satisfied that it is not authentic or accurate thanks to the observations of tommin.

Another sad episode in the Guy Raz horror story.

I was so upset, I thought I lost my chicken, and I almost did! My wife and I were cleaning our garage and she handed me a handful of "trash" to put in the can, I looked down and there among the debris was my chicken!

What chicken you are asking, why my irreplaceable, limited edition, number 5/10 Mike Ging ?SP? origami chicken from the opening scenes of BR!

I was lucky enough to get on board with the run made back in Feb of 2004 when the original maker was approached and he made a run of 10 for us.

I don't know if he will ever do another run and I am so happy I found it before the wife tossed it.

Just thought I would share.

As it says. Someone here had a hook up with the guy that made all of the origami for BR. He convinced him to do a limited run of 10 of the chickens. They got snapped up very quickly. Rylo, if you sell, make sure you get an arm and a leg for it, this will not come again.

Are you saying that the chickens were not, in fact, folded by the original origami maker? That they're counterfeits, made by Guy Raz?

Or are you saying that because GR was the middleman, you are destroying your chicken even if it was folded by the origami maker?

What about the possibility that the provenance is real, but a similiar yet different technique was used to fold them?

Yeah I'm not sure what's going on ether, but if some one told me they knew the guy that made something from a classic film and they talked him into making a few copies of said item "just for us" I'd say B*** S***.

Dude, why would he lie about a paper chicken? I mean, who cares?

While his personal life was indeed criminal he did keep his prop nose clean most of the time.

I just don't see what good it would do to give away chickens signed by Mick Guy.

I mean he did give these away after all...what was there to gain by suggesting it was made by Mick if it wasn't?
