ChaosPrince's Ultimate Spider-Man Suit (Miles Morales) WIP

Hey chaosprince, I am also working on a miles morales print and sent it to FOB but they messed but the lining for the puff painting. I am going to call them soon and ask what to do to fix it. I know you had the same problem on your first print with them so I was wondering if you could pass along the info as to what they had to do to the print so it came out just right so that I can tell the exactly what I need to have it perfect. Thanks

Just make sure that when you call customer support you tell them exactly what is wrong with the print

Hi,

I'm in the UK and I'm planning to also get the Miles Morales costume made in time for London Film and Comic Con.
So far yours seems to be the best plan I've come across (I've subscribed) so I was wondering how much this is costing you roughly?
Also do you think it's doable in the 2 months that I have?

This is open to anyone who can answer my questions. Thanks.

Well the pattern will cost from $10-50
The print costs anywhere from $125-250 depending on the fabric company. ( FOD is around $140)
Accessories (some optional):
Shoes - $20-40
Lenses/frames- $35-50
Faceshell - $35-75
Webshooters - $30-75

Then you account for other things like thread, zippers, puff paint, and sewing.
You can get a decent sewing job done for around $300. Maybe lower if you use a friend or local seamstress.

I know a couple people who've had theirs sewn for $150

The suit is getting detailed right now and then I'm sending it to get sewn up very soon.
I should have the suit done way ahead of schedule. I'm very excited.

I've worked out some details with an alternate seamstress, since TrophyWife is in the middle of moving and won't be accepting commission work for a while. The seamstress I've got lined up to sew my suit is very nice and is going to sew a pair of one of these shoes into the feet section for me (for a small charge as well, very reasonable):

I haven't decided which I want to use yet.

Awesome! Which did you choose? I like the ZEMGEAR Men's Oxygen 2 Round. How did you separate the sole from uppers?

I ended up with the round toe shoes

I'm not separating them. I'm sewing them into the suit.

I saw that you were going to do that but isnt it going to leave some of the other fabric showing? I am just curious how you can even get to sew around a closed shoe and near the sole.

You sew around the edge on the seam of the shoe where the shoe fabric meets the rubber sole

The print is in @elfett 's workshop now, getting professionally puffed.
I can't wait to see the results, I'm sure I'll end up having one hell of an Ultimate Spider-Man suit.

The miles lense/frames came in the other day as well.

And here's a side by side with the black framed set.

So, the red is a bit held back, but if it looks good on the suit, I'm fine with it haha.

If not, I can always make them a more intense red.

Awesome :) and u got red lenses for the combo? That sweet.
Im sure the lenses suit great on the suit :)
Cant wait to see it finished

Neither can I, I've just started my lean phase and cutting stage for my cross fit workouts... so I should be pretty damn muscular for when I get this finished

Thanks to spandex mine will fit me :D
My back is pretty wide.
I hope a full puffed atms2 will stretch enough :)
