ChaosPrince's Ultimate Spider-Man Suit (Miles Morales) WIP

I don't understand why people are telling you not to mess it up. You have valuable resources, if anything I would be telling you that you're not going to mess this up and it's going to rock once done. Question, are you going to TJack for the lenses and if so which style do you plan on using? Or are you making your own lenses?

I just want to see this finished already haha

I second that...there is no doubt in my mind he is going to kill this project...

That's what I'm saying, as I stated before I've only seen a few Morales suits done, whether it's like painted on somewhat poorly, or it looks like a zentai suit. I haven't seen one who actually had a pattern and made one, I'm pretty sure a while back a fellow RPF member started a thread about making one but the updates stopped. I just know this is probably going to look intense. Money to bet, this suit he makes will influence me to start one as well haha

I want to use The ASM2 style lenses, but with red frames. TJack asked me to contact him next week when he has time to figure that out for me. If nothing else I will be vinyl wrapping the lenses I already have.
*SIGH*
If only I could snag away someone's TASM2 MCL34N/TJack to modify for this suit. lol

The print, apparently, shipped today and should be here by Friday... I was expecting to GET the print today. Ah well.
Hopefully it comes out fully saturated and with the honeycomb and muscle shading showing up. I saw an RPF member try to print the very same file and it ended up looking pretty bad, missing all the little details. (crosses fingers)

Don't get me wrong, if they mess the print up, I'm making them re-print it. Not to sound rude or anything, but I'm not cutting any corners this time.

Looking forward to see this suit completed! Love how the new ultimate suit looks.
As do I!

The Ultimate suit looks a bit different than TaylorMcManus 's artistic interpretation of it, but that's something I like, originality. I mean the spider is a bit smaller than in the comics, but that doesn't mean it will look worse, just differently. I personally loved the file on his website, and was instantly hooked.

The file looks golden to me man! Love how the file looks, honestly have little tweaks to already an amazing design makes it unique. Everyone has different interpretation on something and its awesome to see how he took it.
Art is what the file is and all these suits and everyones different interpretation of the suits.

Haha getting another shell and lense, I may try to get on another run in the months coming if he does more runs past this point. No not rude at all, I would throw that suit back at them and ask them to re do it. I'm still waiting for my lenses and shell combo for the third run and I'm picking up my ASM2 mask from my seamstress Thursday.
I'm waiting for my refund check and to pay off my tuition for this semester so I can restart my ASM2 suit, i bought another pattern from Orhadar and I'm waiting to get it done and make it look better than what i created last time.
I might just make a Morales mask puff painted.
I'm just wondering if worn, will the stretch cause your suit to be grey? and if they can saturate it enough to where it wont stretch out to grey.

You can certainly ask them to make the black extra black haha

I'm excited for this too! hope it works out with the print.

I always like to error on the side of caution, if the black color is not as saturated or like the way you want, what would you do other than trying to get it redone by FOD?

Thanks for sharing this build!

If FOD didn't reprint it for me, I'd probably calibrate one of my brother's screen printers and get the black darker. That, or a bunch of Fabric dye haha

Hey ChaosPrince,
my best friend and I are just about to start our own suits and with my friends is not only a Miles Morales like yours but the pattern by @TaylorMcManus also. We are really excited to start but a little scared since this is are first. Any advice especially about the Miles Morales pattern build. We just ordered from FOB and trying to figure out how to order from TJack. P.S. Can't wait to see how yours turns out since you will be not only done first also definitely do it much better than us.

The biggest part in my opinion, is the sewing. You have good sewing, you have a good suit.
So, start with trying to secure a decent seamstress, or brushing up on your serge sewing skills.
And yeah, definitely stick with TJack, he's the king of lenses and frames.
For the feet, you have to decide for yourself if you want a spray on sole, a glued on rubber sole, a sewn on water shoe.. endless choices.

Consider puff paint for a look that will pop more. But caution be to those whom do not check the spidey threads previous. There is a cornucopia of information to be tapped into here at the RPF, so search away and learn.

Ok thank you very much ChaosPrince. I surely search all of here through the spider man pages and also keep watching you and how you suits comes out cause like many other I really want to see how it come out from some one that knows what they are doing.
