Celebrity jerks?

hey a co worker of mine put this on his twitter, reminded me of this thread so figured this was the car you were talking about? thats cool!

Nah that looks to be a 40's or early 50's car. But thanks for looking out. Also did not have a 3rd person in the shoot. My car is a 66 chevelle wagon, so more boxey and less curved. Also for the shoot Garret(Sam Flynn) was in full 50's costume and had a huge beard going on. Soon as I see the magazine on stands or on the net I will grab some pictures of it, the name is jalouse(French Magazine) Should be a summer copy, so far when I do a google search for it the only pictures I get are for some 2008 issue she did.Anyway thanks for looking out Rept!!!

Edit: Found 1 Picture I managed to take from my IPhone, b4 Kristen gave me a mean look for taking this.Sorry for the crappy quality of it, Iphone camera only does so good, also could not get the zoom working on it and with the backround lighting it kinda made it a little out of focus. Like I said soon as I see pictures of the magazine with my car and such in I will post them all up for now this will 1 will have to do!

So while checking out Martial arts schools the other day, I was at a kempo school I had heard bout. While waiting for the adult class(of which I was told the class was a hour earlier then it was). The childrens class was going on, and who would be there but Eddie Cibrian(the guy dating Leann Rimes). He apparently has a son studying Kempo at this school. After a few mins of seeing the kids screwing around, doing some tag game. I ask "Hey aren't you Eddie Cibrian the dude from 3rd watch". He replies "why I am". I then go, "haha awesome, I started watching that show show in early 2000 just because I saw a piece where you were driving that chevelle your character owns in it". We then continue talking for a few mins about cars and such, as it turns out the guy is really into cars. The guy seemed real down to earth, I wanted to ask for a picture but was sure the dojo is the wrong place. Long story short, the guy is totally down to earth nice as heck.

Most of the folks I've met at Cons have been really nice. I've really only got three 'jerk' stories.

Shawnee Smith - Part of the quest to get my Summer School laser disc autographed by as many people as possible. She was an hour late getting back from lunch, then proceeded to talk to someone on the phone away from her table and ignore all four of us in line. Eventually her handler just grabbed our stuff and walked it over to where she was. After eye-rolling anything that wasn't Saw, she finally scribbled on the stuff and shooed the handler back over to us.

James Marsters - I was waiting with a friend who was trying to complete his Buffy autograph collection. Marters was refusing to personalize anything, saying he'd hurt his hand after punching a priest. (So edgy.) He also refused to make eye contact with anything that didn't sport a significant pair of breasts. Juliet Landau was at the table next to him and was taking extra time to be nice to folks Marsters was being snippy with, which seemed like a nice gesture.

Tara Strong - Rude and so incredibly self-absorbed. She was another one who wouldn't make eye contact with anyone and she refused to engage in conversation except with the other voice actors around her. Every time someone tried to talk to her, she'd sort of nod and then turn to the other celebrities around her and start talking about how hard she worked at whatever role was represented in the object to be signed. Of the three 'jerk' incidents, she sticks out the most over the aura of pure disdain she radiated whenever someone bothered her.

Shame to hear about Tara Strong being so rude, she does seem a bit iffy even in interviews you see. Generally voice actors always seem to love being around each other and their fans. Which is a shame as i love a lot of her work.

I met James Marsters at a Buffy Convention with my GF at the time who was in love with him, at he was a very cool person to chat with..It was a smaller convention so everyone had about 5 min to chat with each of the guests, we got his autograph and had a photoshoot pic with him and he was nothing but pleasant....

I worked at Walt Disney World in 1993-4, and was there for the famous Nancy Kerrigan "Mickey bashing". (She was riding in the parade, and was saying how horrible it was, how embarrassed she was to have to ride with Mickey, etc, and was MIKED the entire time.) I didn't meet her, but heard she was a "princess" the whole time. (Found a video clip! Fluff Pieces No. 23 - 1994 Lillehammer, Figure Skating - YouTube )

Wow, that was crazy. getting paid two million to do that and looked rotten the whole time. Where is she now? :unsure

I've heard that over the last 10 years, he's gotten a bit sour, which makes me sad.

I can't say that I've ever seen (or heard) of him being sour. In fact, quite the opposite is true. If you look up "class act" in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of Bruce. I've seen him quite a bit over the last couple years and every year he steps it up and manages to surprise me.

In fact, I now have a rule at conventions: "If Bruce Campbell is at the convention, it doesn't matter who else is there or what effort must be made, Bruce Campbell MUST be seen!"

She is not pretty whatsoever... whoever is casting her for these roles does it solely because of the public appeal created from her being in Twilight. She's a crappy actress, so it can't be talent, and she's not pretty so it can't be looks. Maybe related to someone somehow...? :lol

I know. I feel totally traumatized having looked at her. I may never sleep again. Between her and horse face SJP, I don't know who is worse.

I also had the opportunity to talk with Gates McFadden and Michael Dorn for a few hours and they were both great. They had lots of stories and were really cool.

I had the opportunity to meet the entire Star Trek: TNG cast this weekend at the Comic Expo, including Denise Crosby, Wil Weaton, and John de Lancie. All were awesome! Michael wasn't too talkative on Friday evening as he looked exhausted (was in Vancouver last weekend for the con there), but as the weekend went on he opened up and was even taking photos of the fans during one of the panels. When I had my moment with Brent, he cracked me up. One highlight this weekend was when I was leaving the convention centre yesterday, Michael and Brent passed me on the way out so I thanked them both for coming and in return they thanked me for being a fan. Awesome!:cool

It was the first time in about 25 or so years the entire original Star Trek TNG crew were together. Was a blast.

I always hear that Wil Weaton is really fun to hang out with. A guy at the Pittsburgh Comicon back in the 90s complained about John de Lancie but i figured it was an off day as i never heard anything else about him.

Yeah? I heard he's awful... he once took a video of a very embarrassing. private conversation and put it on the internet. And another time lied about his own grandmother to win a game... I'd never want to hang out with someone like that, so mean. oh wait...

Yesterday at the Comic Expo here in Calgary, Aaron Douglas from Battlestar Galactica lost a bet to Wil Weaton. Being from BC and a Canucks fan, Aaron had to wear an LA Kings jersey yesterday.:lol

I think I posted a pic in the Calgary Comic Expo thread already.

I've met him, twice. Back in the early '90's he was filming an episode of Matlock in town and came into the Spencers where I worked. I went to teh movie store across the hall and grabbed a TNG videocassette (!) with one of his episodes and got him to sign it. He was extremely cool. That night I showed it to my GF who was a huge TNG fan, was the one who got me watching it even. She was pissed that I didn't get something signed for her. A few days later he came in again, and once more I ran over to the movie store and grabbed "Encounter at Farpoint" video. I explained what happened to him and he graciously signed that too and made it out for her. Even with me being a Richard and practically stalking him to get him to sign something, not once but twice, he was extremely cool.

I've hung out with John numerous times he's a great guy!

Something I noticed about him is He does come across as aloof sometimes but that is not his intent

John was the surprise Star Trek guest today at the Expo. Got an autograph from him and chatted with him briefly. Good guy too!
