Celebrity jerks?

Adam West = He was really nice and funny. walked into his own panel while we were online and there was a picture of him as batman and as mayor west from FG. he looks at it and then at us and say "well damn, that looks nothing like me, who are these people!". he was kind and very nostalgic when i showed him my gray ghost costume. very kind

Adam is actually the ONLY celeb I've ever met (at a con) and yes, he was SUPER nice! When he wasn't seated for autographs he was up and about mingling with everyone- very down to earth- and I was shocked at how TALL he was! I had no idea! I'm 6'2 and I was looking UP at him, lol

I'm gonna' be the weird voice of dissent, here.

Ryan Reynolds was a PRINCE when I met him. Didn't ask him for a pic. Didn't ask him to sign anything. Did have a weird/sad/hilarious conversation with him wherein we traded Anchoman quotes for way too long - then started talking about our families and all kinds of weirdness. He said some weirdly personal stuff to me that I don't actually feel comfy repeating.

Luke Goss was very kind - met him at a nerd con, we started talking about flicks...about the Hollywood machine...we ended up hitting the hotel bar with him for hours just shooting the **** and talking about life. Really nice guy with some smart ideas about where he wants he career to go.

I've had the pleasure of working with Adam West at a few different cons. That man is a hottie MAGNET! He makes Hef look like an amateur! The best time I had with Adam was in Mid-Ohio Con 1998. He and Frank Gorshin-The Riddler(R.I.P.) were seated next to each other, and I was working with them both. They were both class acts, signing way more than the limit and sometimes for free(for little kids).

Excellent! A lot of people might have started with, "You know what Ryan Reynolds told me?", especially considering all the bashing going on in this thread, but you showed class and integrity by keeping it to yourself. In all sincerity, well done! (y)thumbsup

Ok, how about James Marsters? (Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer.) I may get to meet him this weekend, and I was wondering what to expect.

He was very professional when he was down for ECCC. Very nice to the fans and cordial to the staff. He genuinely seems to enjoy meeting the fans.

Met Iron Maiden a couple times, once after a gig they opened the hall up again and let us in, and signed everything for everyone. Blaze of Wolfsbane was hanging about too, having a laugh and carry on w/ the fans, he went in too! Steve Harris was like "don't i know you?!" "Yes, i'm in the support band!"
Well, Blaze did sing in Iron Maiden for 5 years or so.

I got to meet Mark Hamill, and Stan Lee at NYCC 2011. Both were stellar people and super nice! Mark even told me that my Luke ANH Costume that I was wearing was better than the one he had for the movie. Now if that wasn't a compliment, I don't know what was!

Ditto on Hamill at NYCC. I was working the show as a photographer/reporter, and when Mark was signing at the New Gen booth it was a frenzy but he made sure everyone got their pix, posed with people, the works. Attaboy, Mark

Folks, Hamill just turned 60, and while well kept, looks his age. Fisher recently turned 55 and looks like she could be his mother.
