I bought the same Hook from Magnoli Clothiers, which they originally purchased from Sarednab!

It's such a fantastic and beautiful piece! I want it on display permanently. Any idea where I can buy a bell jar to display it in?View attachment 645501

I got my bell jar from Pier One. It does have a small hole in the top in which they originally had a piece of rope. I removed that. I wish to add some sort of finial to it at some point to cover it. I did strip, stand and stain (cherry wood finish) the base.

I was inspired to get my Hook from the original run out of storage today after seeing the Dagger thread, it lost all its shine and being plated I didnt want to use metal polishing paste as they are abrasive. So I found a product that is for Chrome plated plastics, like car trims etc.
Figured I would take some progress shots for everyone just incase others had lost the sheen on their Hook's too. I noticed that where the hook spins around to lock in place there were a couple spots where the plating has come away, the original Hooks fit very snug on the base and I guess at one point on tightened it too much guess I'm never taking the hook off again lol.

Sad I missed this run.. Still one of my favorite movies of all time. I actually got to see the real prop in St Augustine in 2017 on an overnight trip from home in Davenport FL. Would love to own one of these replicas if they are ever made again.
