I got mine on Saturday from a guy selling preorders on eBay (I'm in the US) and I was really impressed by it. It's a little tight on my wrist, but I'm tempted to see about wearing it out. I wear a brown leather cuff on that wrist anyway, so most people probably wouldn't clock the difference right off.

The little sonic that comes with it is also fantastic! The light is so bright, I stopped my roomie from tickling me by grabbing it and flashing it in his eyes!

Oh, yes, the strap it has right now just slips in and out. Just matching a colour perfectly could be hard. I'd be interested in someone making a real leather surround for the electronics. Just cut it out and swap it over.

There are some on amazon.com. I have not ordered one yet, but I did order a future sonic screwdriver and the journal of impossible things.

This eBay seller claims he will be getting 6 new VM toys (along with a sonic screwdriver) in October. I asked and he said they are re-releasing them. Can anyone verify if that's true?

Entertainment Earth has them listed as shipping in October, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's true.

Character Options recently did another run of River's Sonic, so I guess it's possible. If it's true, then I'm buying three. :angel

i hope that means a definite re release. seems like only in the us though, none for UK or Australia. definitely going to order to complete my CO prop collection, then i gotta start getting the real deal

I read it wrong: Pre-order release date of August 2010. (Not 2011)

I've emailed the company in hopes of getting an answer of when they will be in stock.

Whenever they give a date for release it always tends to get pushed back with Who toys. Waiting for the re-release of the Tennant End of Time Packaging of the sonic took forever. And most places sold out very quickly
