Some minor updates done, fixed the closing, some inlays and some painting, small steps, takes a whole lot of time, but still enjoying it..

It seems to work, to make it fully like it used to be I should probably go for a wooden dome, don’t have the equipment for that unfortunately...

But honestly, a full wood dome is professional, but is it nearly as fun? I’d say probably not, in my opinion. Tennis ball is the way to go. Excited to see the updates!

And again, minor updates, the brass inlays are all in place, the lock for the lid is done, leather on the inside of the lid, it actually closes as it should... proud little man here, next step wil be painting and engraving the sundial, it’ll be hand engraved... then probably the sundial can be finished, then polish the whole thing and give it a security epoxy resin layer... probably a week or two before I believe she’s finished.

Thank you very much, I actually am very proud at what she’s about to come! I absolutely love building this thing, especially compared to the first build I’ve done. I still don’t get people actually liked that thing..

I like to believe she is ready, she probably will rest on my own made table. Just have to clear the table first... Very proud to build this in a long time. Finally how I want her!
