I've been looking at the airsoft one after seeing fly4vs mod thread. It's only 22" but i think that's ok. I'm just going to put it on my wall so it's not going to make much of a diff

Well, lucky for us, we could potentially have more Shields coming from 2 other companies. I expect them to be a better price, considering they are unlicensed.

Update 3/12/14
After a couple back and forth emails with Beast Kingdom's International Sales Dept, they stated that Sideshow Collectibles here in Calif will be handling US sales and they were just notified of the shields a couple days ago. They recommended to wait a few days and call Sideshow for further details and pricing. So of course, I had to call Sideshow this morning, the Customer Service Rep checked with management and they have no info at all. SS told me to just be aware of their newsletter and Facebook page.
I will definitely be calling back until I get the right answers. BTW Beast Kingdom wouldn't answer my questions on the correct price/currency exchange.
In addition, I emailed King Arts International LTD on their Capt shield and they answered that their prototype and preorder will be released soon on their Facebook page.

Yes, I agree Sideshow is too expensive. Hopefully, we get another choice soon. Too bad EFX Collectibles totally dropped the ball on getting the shield done.
Outside of making your own, the spun aluminum shields are the best, most economical option out there

I want one so bad. I wouldn't even consider some of these chinese shields if I could get my hands on a aluminum one (that looks accurate to the movie).
