Long time no update! In the spirit of the Halloween season, I have three hours left to finish the leather strapping on the back of the shield before the party tonight. Awesome. That's not gonna happen. But here's what I have so far!
Ended up welding the brackets on by MIG. The rivets on the edge are actual rivets, set them by hand, never again. But everything holds up really really nicely. So that's cool
