"Captain America, how exciting!" TWS TFA Rescue USO and Ultimates WW2

When the picture is zoomed in you can see the square stitching, that is where they attached the suspenders to the GP strap.
Or at least that is my guess since that stitching is missing on the actual strap.
Are you going to 100% accuracy?

I'm trying as best I can for high accuracy. However I'll be missing out on a few things, such as an accurate jacket and I think I'll be making my own paratrooper pants. I plan on coming back to the costume next year to acquire/build more accurate things.

Nooooooo pics are down!! Is the bandwidth limit monthly? I just got my jacket in the mail and was looking forward to start the build. Amazing work you have done. Hopefully pics back up soon.

Levy,

Yeah, bandwidth is limited monthly because I'm no where near the storage limit.
Just keep clicking 'Looks who's popular' and when it comes up in the separate window click on the magnifying glass and the image should show up full size.

Sorry that I'm too cheep to pay Photobucket but before I give them money I'll be giving some money to the RPF.

Thanks Fly4V,
So far I have cut off all the straps, removed the liner, drilled out the snaps. I also am working on a USO girl costume to go with me. I'll start a thread for it soon. Thanks for all the inspiration!

As always Fly, that's amazing work! I enjoy my builds, rushed though they always seem to be, but you sir are operating on a whole 'nother level. *chuckle*

nice build man, I'm currently working on the winter soldier version.

Thanks, look forward to seeing it.

While it is Hawaiian Shirt California Friday tomorrow, Captain America will be showing up for work. Minus the shield.

The jacket is blue. Guess interior night photo vs day exterior is not that great.

I don't have the correct color shoes yet. Nike redesigned the Lunaglide 4 and they have the 5's out now. This is the closest I could get in the standard shoes. The 4 are up front.

Best thing is even if I don't wear my improved TFA uniform, can still go to the opening as the Cap.

Thank you Comicbookmovie.com for the 90 screen caps from Captain America 2.

After a good review have found that the Cap will combine the leather shoulder shoulder strap harness from the Stealth/Commander suit with the improved TFA suit.

You call tell by the gloves and sleeves in the first picture and then the collar and shoulder detail in the second.

Also these new shoulders are more integrated than the original TFA but look easier to make.

90 Crisp Screenshots From CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 Trailer!

The later three shots in the trailer don't have the harness but have some nice detail that would help with a TFA suit mod or a new build.

Been away for awhile, just been reading this thread. Had to reach up several times and close my jaw.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh MY! Fantastic work Sir, just fantastic! You do Cap EXTREMELY Well!!!!

Looks like they redesigned the belt and pouches too

Feel like such a tool, talked about the changes to the belt in the general CA2 Winter Soldier thread but I didn't put anything in my own. :facepalm

Yes, the belt and pouches were redesigned and the pistol holster is gone.

There are really good pictures from the SDCC that show the new details. These are the images I used to make the new sleeves and ab section.

SDCC '13: Cap's New Uniform & Shield On Display From CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Can also see the general shape of the new knee pads. Looks like a craft foam build up with some HBT sewn over to integrate them into the pants.

Since I never had an accurate TFA belt and buckle, wasn't going to worry. Just consider it TFA 1.5 while the movie has the new TFA is 2.0

Considering that Tony Stark is such a tinkerer and Howard made so many different shields.... there had to have been many TFA prototypes and then 'improved' TFA suits that were made before Steve became a Cap-cicle.

The update and changes to the TFA suit look great! I guess it pays to have the seperate abs on the suit! You should be rocking the premiere! Keep the pics coming!
