Can someone explain this Anakin C3 saber part to me?

I saw this on Ebay, and I know its not the one used in the movie. So where does it come from?

yeah - I used to have a pic of a saber with this circuit board on it - but cant seem to find it now... I never knew exactly when it was seen or used (if at all) - but one was made...

There were a bunch of saber props used in filming, and I think anyone would be hard pressed to identify which prop appeared in which scene.

Makes me wonder how many other sabers, like Obi Wans, had a random chip in the saber on different versions. Maybe the only reason we consider a certain one "Anakins" or "Obi Wans" is those props were randomly shown to MR... Because ive never seen the chips closely enough outside an MR pic to know the differences.

That saber is a custom piece machined by Erik aka Acerocket. He did a fantastic job on it, and if your looking to get a different type of Anakin saber, ask just wait for his ROTS stunt sabers, they're gonna be awesome.

Yeah thats my complete custom based off photos I took and gathered at C3, I liked a number of the distinct differences of the saber and Erik also thought they were great so we had at it. My prize peice for sure.

I also neglected to mention that TFX's chips there I made the design which was also used on mine, though in brass.
