Can Anyone Identify This Mauser?

I'm confident it's not a Denix, but I don't think it's an MGC either. It could possibly be a deactivated real Mauser, but I got it for too good a price for it to be real. Can anyone tell what it is?

I can't see a Denix logo, but that is no indication it isn't a Denix. The grip look very much like a plastic Denix grip to me. Though the safety isn't straight out like on a Denix.

Why don't you think it's a MGC? It looks like to to me. The pin i the trigger and the plastic grips scream MGC to me. There were a number of variation in MGCs in terms on finish and grips and stamping, but they all seem to have some constants which your Mauser possess.

Actually I didn't even notice the trigger pin, thanks for pointing that out Dan. Don't most MGC's have the Mauser logo stamped on the side?

And in case your wondering, I haven't received it yet so I haven't had the chance to actually hold this beauty yet. I'm so excited just to find one so I've been trying to figure out what it is :p

They varry as to Mauser staping, grips, and finish.

The MGC used for the Greedo Killer didn't have a Mauser Logo

Thanks allot guys, I was hoping it was at least an MGC and not a heavily modified Denix or something like that

Well the only real way to tell is for you to send it to me for inspection. So if you're interested you can just drop it in the post ;)
