Go for it! Doctor Mopp can cure all ills!
with his pale pink medicine and sugar coated pills ;]
i do actually have one of those little wooden figurines that you used for the puppets, but the leg broke and i think a bit went missing. perhaps i could go with the more show accurate approach of a wire armature?

If you ever wanted to animate with it, that would be the way to go. Those figures are a bit poseable but have a limited range of movement and can't hold position very well. Also, I think they are very slightly too small, but you can get away with it.

i feel like i’d want to animate it at some point, stop motion is really fun!
i think i could experiment with different lighting too, since the show never veered away from sunny daytime, and the car has working headlights of course

That would be great! Yes, it was always sunny in Camberwick Green. Incidentally, my Doctor Mopp car is the one I had as a child that, somehow survived.
i’m glad that it did! and now for something slightly different because i don’t think i’ve shared it here before, here’s a digital model i’ve been making of the moppmobile itself (i never imagined i’d actually get one so i think this was the next best thing) (the lining was hell)

Well done, does it still run? I think mine lights up but its driving and shaking days may be over.
it does, and it's dang loud too!
here's a link to my twitter post, since I can't send videos through this it runs better on a solid floor rather than carpet, but you get the general idea.
it also came with the little driver figurine, but the good doctor will take his place eventually
