Caboose red help!

Hi there,anyone know a good match for caboose red here in the UK?,it's humbrol or tamiya over here................what a nightmare!!!:love.

I had to strip down my pro shop x wing last night as the red looked too wrong,I really thought i had a good match,mind you i did have a few glasses of red wine before painting...hmmm!.

I dont know of any tamiya color that matches that. I would recommend that you custom mix some colors to get it close to caboose red.

I get all my Floquil here http://www.thesidingstamworth.com/ its hit and miss what they have in stock, but worth a shot!

I only know Floquil,but Testors/Pactra made a Cabose Red if I recal?

Thanks guys,as usual a big help,been busy so I hav'nt been on here for a while,I'll try out the shops and see if they can help,if not I'll mix my own colour again,but this time I'll lay off the wine before I start :eek.

I used Polly Scale Caboose Red on my Red 4 (Polly Scale is Floquil), the acrylic version. It worked like a charm, and it's stronger than Tamiya paint ! And way much friendly than th enamel version The color of course, is the same !
